The Department of Psychology is seeking a skilled and highly motivated part-time (0.6FTE) Research Assistant to support a 3-year Wellbeing of Women funded project exploring the effect of period pain on the lives of adolescent girls and their school engagement.

The post is funded for 13 months.
Due to the research involving adolescents, a DBS check will be required for this post.
A driving licence and willingness to drive to schools is desirable though not required.

]]>The Department of Psychology is seeking a skilled and highly motivated post-doctoral research associate to lead on a range of innovative projects related to a 5-year £3.5 million Wellcome grant.

The goal is to unravel advanced brain age on a cellular level, embed this within a neurodevelopmental model of psychotic disorders, and apply this knowledge to identify more effective (proteomic) treatment targets against cognitive impairment early in the disease process.
The Bath-based Research Associate will lead on the first Work Package of the project, exploring brain age acceleration in psychotic disorders and their risk factors using large-scale case-control neuroimaging datasets (e.g. HBCD, developing Human Connectome Project, HCP).
The Research Associate will join a collaborative team across 5 institutions (Cardiff University, University of Oxford, University College London, University of Cambridge, University of Jena), including individuals with lived experience and 5 other Research Associates.
