Are you a current 星空体育官网 student with a passion for making a real difference?

We’re looking for students to join us on a full-time placement that’ll give your CV a serious boost while you help shape the future of our student community. If you’re keen on planning campus events, inspiring school students with your Bath story, delivering dynamic digital programmes, or championing student feedback to inspire change, we’ve got a role for you.

The Roles

Choose one of these four intern roles:

  • Outreach: Programmes: Help deliver a diverse range of widening participation and recruitment programmes (Pathway to Bath and Apply with Bath). Use your Bath experience to engage UK school leavers via digital events and in-person sessions.
  • Student Recruitment: Represent the University at schools, colleges, and higher education exhibitions across the UK. You’ll deliver workshops, share advice on applications, and offer insights into the unique Bath experience – with plenty of travel and fresh challenges along the way.
  • Outreach: Campus Events: Organise and deliver memorable on-campus experiences – from campus tours and taster days to open days and residential visits. You’ll ensure prospective students get an authentic taste of Bath life, all while coordinating a team of ambassadors.
  • Access and Participation Impact: Amplify the student voice by supporting our Access and Participation Plan (APP). Gather feedback, help design engagement strategies, and support evaluation initiatives that ensure our activities truly resonate with today’s students.

What’s in it for you?

  • Real experience: Gain hands-on skills in project management, event planning, research, digital engagement and more.
  • CV gold: Stand out with a placement that directly contributes to shaping Bath’s future.
  • Team spirit: Work alongside experienced professionals and fellow interns, supporting one another every step of the way.
  • Flexibility and growth: Enjoy a dynamic role that offers learning and career development opportunities in a friendly and supportive environment.

What we expect from you

We encourage candidates who are self-starters, ready to take the initiative and make a genuine impact. The successful candidates will:

  • Be passionate and committed: Show genuine enthusiasm for student recruitment, widening participation, and making Bath a top choice for prospective students.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills: Whether you’re presenting in a classroom, hosting an event, or writing a report, clear and compelling communication is a must.
  • Be tech-savvy and organised: From managing digital events to delivering online evaluation systems, you should be comfortable with technology and have a knack for keeping things running smoothly.
  • Adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment: Expect to juggle multiple tasks, handle occasional curveballs, and adjust plans on the fly.
  • Collaborate like a pro: Work independently and as part of a vibrant team, supporting each other and sharing fresh ideas to continually improve our initiatives.

If you’re ready to take on your next challenge while leaving your mark on Bath’s future, then you’re exactly who we’re after.
